IQF Frozen

Tasman Bay Berries supplies high quality 100% all-natural IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Boysenberries. This super fruit has become a popular item on the menu.  Now with our quality frozen IQF berries, you can enjoy the taste of berries throughout the year.

IQF Frozen Process

The boysenberries are harvested straight off our own vines and immediately delivered to the cold store to be snap frozen. Once they have been frozen, they are then graded and packed into 10kg cartons. 

All Tasman Bay Berries frozen berries are:

• Processed from freshly harvested or frozen berries
• 100% fruit with no artificial ingredients or fillers

Food safety and product quality are the two most important factors in growing and processing these fresh fruit products. From the field to harvesting and through production, Tasman Bay Berries strives to assure food safety standards and the effective tracking of its products on a “one-step forward and one-step back” basis.  

Packaging

Finished IQF products are packed in a 10kg poly liner in a cardboard carton.

IQF products require shipping in refrigerated frozen vans and stored at -18° C.  This ensures a minimum two-year shelf life from date of manufacturing. Each carton is labeled with a batch number, product ID and the date that the product was packed.
