Our story

From Hope, with Love.

For more than 20 years our family has grown boysenberries at Tangle Farm in Hope, Nelson, at the top of New Zealand's South Island. Today we harvest around 300 tonnes a year, sell them fresh and turn them into BOYZEN™ ingredients for brands around the world.

Why we created BOYZEN™

BOYZEN™ freeze-dried powder, juice concentrate and purée

Boysenberries are rare, hard to grow at scale and too often sold as a commodity. BOYZEN™ is how we take the best of our fruit to the world: premium freeze-dried powder, juice concentrate and purée, made from our own berries and traceable back to our canes.

What we stand for

  • Sustainably grown
  • Responsibly sourced
  • Premium quality
  • Driven by integrity

Sustainability

A healthier future from the ground up

Responsible growing, premium ingredient innovation and circular economy principles.

  • Packaging with less waste

Our fresh punnets are recycled PET (RPET), and soaker pads help berries stay fresh for longer, which reduces waste.
